  • Stainless steel 304 Tank volume 1.5 liters
  • Double blade stainless steel 304 planetary mixer
  • 1/4 HP motor with variable speed of rotation (0-80 rpm)
  • Temperature in the tank max 150C
  • Timer to preset mixing time up to 10 hours.
  • Vacuum pump and vacuum gage
  • Microprocessor based digital temperature controller
  • Electric heating system around the tank.
  • Scraper arm to remove material from the tank walls.
  • Power: 110 VAC, 50/60 Hz, single phase.

Data acquisition system for MIGL-34C

The mixer is equipped with the following transducers sensing:

  • torque (max 300 lb-inch)
  • speed of mixer motor rotation max 80 RPM
  • temperature in the tank max 150C
  • vacuum 27" Hg min.

The computer operator interface program has been developed in LabView, a National Instruments graphic programming language, which is cross platform compatible with Macintosh, IBM, or Sun.

All measured variables may be recorded and stored on the hard drive for future analysis by other programs such as Excel or Lotus.

This system uses the Lab-PC+ board which has the following:

  • 8 - Single ended analog inputs (1-10 VDC or 4-20 ma)
  • 24 - Digital Inputs/Outputs (5 VDC)
